ELECTRONIC MANUFACTURING QUALITY INSPECTORReady to put your expertise to work in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment? We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with strong soldering and rework skills to join our team!WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS ROLEPrecision & Impact: Play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards in PCB assembly through critical inspections and rework.Hands-On Work: Utilize your soldering skills to handle both SMT and through-hole components, working with a microscope for precision.Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dedicated team in a dynamic manufacturing setting.Growth & Stability: Join an established company with opportunities to enhance your technical skills and expertise.LOCATION: Greater Portland, ORSALARY: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourSCHEDULE: Full-Time | Monday - FridayMorning Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMAfternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMOccasional overtime as business needsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESConduct first article and final quality control inspections.Hand solder SMT and through-hole components to IPC 610 and J-STD-001 Class 3 standards.Perform rework as needed using a microscope and small hand tools.Operate X-ray machines to ensure quality control.Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality data.Identify and correct defects to uphold quality standards.Clean and maintain circuit board assemblies using various wash methods.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in electronics preferred.Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCB assembly, through-hole soldering, and SMT soldering & rework.Certifications: IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certification preferred.Skills & Abilities:Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 inspection standards.Ability to identify and work with various electronic components.Excellent manual dexterity and ability to perform detailed work under a microscope.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to lift and transport up to 20 pounds.Reliable attendance and strong teamwork mindset.Ability to read and interpret documentation in English.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe role requires sitting for extended periods while performing detailed work under a microscope.Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and perform repetitive tasks using small hand tools.Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with strict quality control standards.DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION STATEMENTWe are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that welcomes diverse candidates.
