Position OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented professional to provide expert guidance on product installation and operation while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to support both customers and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance & InspectionEnsure compliance with FAA regulations, including FAR Part 145 and other applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (Title 14 CFRsStay informed on FAA updates and communicate changes to the teamAssist in FAA audits and inspections, preparing necessary documentationConduct and oversee all inspections (incoming, hidden damage, preliminary, in-process, and final) in accordance with Repair Station ManualMonitor maintenance and repair operations to ensure adherence to standardsParticipate in internal and external audits, addressing regulatory findings and customer complaintsMaintain and update calibration records, ensuring compliance with calibration standardsIdentify and tag malfunctioning equipment while ensuring shelf-life items remain currentOperational & Quality SupportComplete and maintain Bench AuditsProvide exceptional service to customers, suppliers, and employeesRespond promptly to inspection requests for the Repair StationAct as a liaison between the Repair Station, FAA inspectors, Production, and Engineering teamsSupport repair technicians as neededMaintain accurate records for maintenance activities and personnel trainingEnsure the Customer Requirements Book is updated and accessible for outbound order processingPrepare reports for FAA compliance and senior management, tracking key compliance metricsAssist in implementing training programs to meet regulatory requirementsRequired Skills & QualificationStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProficiency in basic mathematical calculationsStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive approachHigh attention to detail and ability to interpret regulationsFamiliarity with FAA regulations, including FAR Part 145 and Part 121Sound judgment and discretion in decision-makingEducation & ExperienceAssociate degree, technical school certification, or equivalent experience in avionics trainingFAA Airframe license required; FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointExperience in aviation, maintenance operations, or quality assurance is a plusPrior experience in an aviation repair station or maintenance environment is highly desirable
