Kelly, in partnership with an industry leading and nationally recognized organization is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Pewaukee, WI.This is a direct hire Maintenance Technician position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.Benefits:Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Group Life InsuranceDisability Insurance401(k) plan with company matchProfit sharing planPaid uniform serviceOutside training programs Details:Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00pm-6:15amPay Rate: $25-36/hr. based on skills and experience, $1.00/hr. shift differentialLocation: Pewaukee, WIPosition Information:Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on machinery and equipment, including identifying root causes of issues, dismantling systems to replace defective parts, and testing electrical circuitry and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and analyze machine failures, serving as a proactive maintenance liaison to the plant engineer, and ensuring compliance with NFPA/NEC standards when building and troubleshooting electrical panels and machinery.Maintain the grounds and building exterior, including electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and HVAC.Assist machine operators and production teams to enhance asset performance and reliability for optimal production.Conduct simple fabrication tasks such as welding and ordering necessary supplies and repair parts.Set up and operate various machining operations (e.g., lathe, drill press, grinders, welding) to fabricate or repair parts and equipment as needed.Required Experience:Strong focus on safety in industrial environments, following all policies and procedures.Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.Proficient in preventative and corrective maintenance in fast-paced manufacturing environments.Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and piping diagrams.Skilled in metal fabrication (MIG, TIG, arc welding/cutting).Experienced in researching parts, drawings, and schematics.PLC troubleshooting and basic programming knowledge.Effective communication skills.Experience in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, welding, and cutting.Familiar with CMMS and using tools like calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.Proficient with shop equipment: drill presses, lathes, grinders, cranes, forklifts.Knowledge of industrial compressors and compressed air systems.Computer literate in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).High School Diploma or GED Equivalent with 5+years of maintenance experience or Technical degree in maintenance related field.Valid driver's license.
