Job Title: Corporate Legal AssistantLocation: Downtown Chicago- 5 days on-siteIndustry: LegalPay: $50,000 - $65,000 + End-of-Year BonusAbout Our Client:Addison Group is hiring for our client, a well-established law firm seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with room for growth in a dynamic legal environment.Job Description:The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and legal support to a team of attorneys, ensuring seamless daily operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.Key Responsibilities:Draft, edit, and manage legal documents and correspondence.Support attorneys with case preparation, filings, and document organization.Maintain and update real estate tax docket calendars.Handle client intake, conflict checks, and case file management.Assist in preparing invoices and coordinating with the billing department.Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial and legal documentation.Utilize software such as Appeal Tax, Word, Excel, and Perfect AIM for legal and administrative tasks.Perform additional administrative duties as needed.Qualifications:Bachelors degree required.3-5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.Strong corporate law experience preferred; litigation experience is a plus but not required.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal database software.Ability to work with multiple attorneys, managing both low-key and high-demand workloads.Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Additional Details:Full-time, onsite role.Business casual work environment.Opportunity for training and professional development.Direct hire opportunity with long-term career growth potential.
