Litigation Paralegal

Job Title: Litigation ParalegalLocation: Orlando (Lake Mary), FLSalary: $75,000-$80,000/yearBillable Requirement: 1,800 hours per yearAbout the Role: LHH is recruiting for a Litigation Paralegal for a leading firm specializing in complex civil litigation. This firm has decades of experience delivering exceptional results to clients in various industries, including motor vehicle, drug and medical device, chemical product, consumer product, and heavy equipment. This role offers an intellectually rigorous and consistently satisfying work environment, where you will be constantly challenged and engaged.Responsibilities:Prepare, edit, and proofread documents (correspondence, agreements, pleadings).Collaborate with attorneys to advance litigation, regularly updating team members on case status and alerting attorneys to important client and case needs.Assist with discovery, including requests, depositions, and issuing subpoenas.Conduct document review and analysis through various platforms.Manage electronic case files using iManage to ensure organized and easily accessible information.Prepare for trial, including compiling materials, coordinating witnesses, issuing subpoenas, and managing exhibits.Qualifications:Meticulous, diligent, personable, and highly motivated.Capable of responding quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities.Able to anticipate challenges, exercise independent judgment, and take effective action.Deliver high-quality work product and take ownership, responsibility, and accountability.Comfortable with learning new technology and processes.Ability to travel nationwide to attend trials.Familiar with client billing guidelines and able to enter and record accurate billing entries.Education and Experience:Bachelors Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.4+ years of litigation law firm experience (defense experience preferred).Benefits:Competitive compensation and benefits package, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.Firm-paid life, disability, and long-term care insurance.Domestic partner benefits.Generous paid time off policy.Retirement savings plan with employer profit-sharing contributions.Nine paid holidays.Well-being programs and activities.24/7 employee assistance program with confidential counseling.Casual atmosphere and attire.LHH is looking for a dedicated litigation paralegal to join this dynamic team.
