The ACP family operates with the highest standards, reliability and support.Position Overview: The Director of Sales will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of Account Managers, each responsible for managing and developing their own territory to support the overall growth of the company. This leadership role involves both strategic oversight and hands-on sales management to ensure the achievement of revenue targets, long-term client relationships, and the continued expansion of our market presence.As a key member of the sales leadership team, the Director of Sales will lead by example, provide mentorship, and ensure the development of effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our portfolio of commercial plumbing contracts.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of Account Managers in the development and execution of their sales strategies, ensuring they are aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide ongoing training, performance feedback, and guidance to help Account Managers build their territories and achieve sales targets. Foster a high-performance sales culture with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share within existing and new territories. Monitor and analyze sales metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet both short- and long-term revenue goals. Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the leadership team to explore potential markets for expansion.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers in the commercial plumbing industry. Ensure that Account Managers provide exceptional service and support to clients, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.Business Development & Growth: Identify and target new business opportunities in key commercial sectors. Oversee the development and execution of proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations. Lead the sales team in acquiring large-scale plumbing contracts and securing repeat business.Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic updates for the Executive Team. Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform decision-making and optimize team performance.Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and project management teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to project execution. Collaborate with other departments to ensure sales initiatives align with the company's overall goals and capabilities.Qualifications:Experience: At least 7-10 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role. Experience in commercial plumbing, construction, or related industries is highly preferred. Proven track record of managing and mentoring sales teams, as well as achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire a sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization. Highly organized with strong time management and project management skills. Proficient in CRM software, sales analytics, and reporting tools. Results-driven with a focus on both individual and team success.Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $160,000 +Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, group life insurance, and long-term disability coverage.
