Purchasing & Sales Coordinator

Company DescriptionPastene is a strong supermarket brand with a focus on the Mediterranean diet. Celebrating our 150th year, Pastene is family run and pride themselves on quality, consistency and above all, tradition. We are currently seeking a Full Time Purchasing & Sales Coordinator to provide valuable added support and service to our teams. In this cross-functional role you will support both Purchasing and Sales departments and become a key liaison in aiding Pastene in the two most important components of our company.Role & Responsibilities·        Full-Time on-site role in our Canton, MA office with flexibility for a hybrid model up to 2 days per week remotely.·        Work closely with Purchasing and Sales TeamsPurchasing *****·        Evaluate & monitor on hand inventory levels and assist with forecasting·        Tactical purchasing operations such as purchase orders, receipts, returns in ERP system·        Tracking inbound domestic and imported shipments·        Arranging LTL and FTL freight domestically·        Organizing and collecting import documentation·        Maintain strong supplier relationships·        Work with label/package designers as well as manage label inventory Sales Responsibilities·        Entering item and promotional data into customer portals·        Manage & input 1WorldSync application for company·        Performing & running data analysis utilizing internal data systems.·        Leverage reporting to identify insights & trends·        Work closely with Chief Commercial Officer & Sales ManagerQualificationsBachelors degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years experience in a CPG environmentAbility to collaborate across department lines with Purchasing and SalesStrong attention to detailStrong time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks.Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office 365, with an emphasis on Excel and Business Central (ERP)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in supply chain management is a plusFood import knowledge a plus
