We specialize in providing strategic communication services to a diverse range of clients, with a focus on center-right and conservative policy and political communities. We are currently seeking a highly skilled full-time Senior Account Manager to join our growing team.Job Summary: The Senior Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, developing strategic communications, and fostering enduring relationships with media professionals. This role would be perfect for an individual with experience with Capitol Hill, campaigns, think tanks, PACs or non-profit communications. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is adept at quickly understanding client issues and developing impactful messaging strategies, is capable of working both independently and collaboratively, and is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills who has strong ties to the center-right/conservative policy/political community. They will also have a proven ability to produce and edit high-quality content under tight deadlines.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Quickly get up to speed on client issues and provide strategic recommendations.Produce and edit content including, but not limited to: editorials, speeches, talking points, and promotional materials, all of which align with the styles and priorities of our clients.Draft high-quality content, including op-eds, press releases, and client-facing communications such as research documents and memos.Create agendas for weekly client and internal meetings, ensuring smooth and productive discussions and offering strategic insights and recommendations.Develop and implement strategic media relations plans for clients, focusing on both short-term and long-term objectives while ensuring that all media strategies align with their goals and messaging.Interact with media, pitch stories, and cultivate relationships with journalists to enhance client visibility.Craft and manage content across various social media platforms to strengthen client brand presence.Collaborate closely with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables and meet project deadlines.Schedule and coordinate media interviews for clients, providing staffing support as neededQualifications:Proven experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.Comfort interacting with media and participating in high-level client discussions.Ability to work independently and take initiative in developing strategies.Existing media relationships.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Required Skills & Competencies:Exceptional writing skills and a mastery of Associated Press Style.Ability to work primarily in-office to foster team collaboration.Availability for occasional travel as required.Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong command of Associated Press Style.Experience in building and maintaining high-impact, productive media lists.Proficiency in using media clipping software and live-streaming technology is highly desirable.Availability for occasional travel as required by client needs.Education and Experience:A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in public relations or journalism, with a primary focus on campaigns, nonprofits or Capitol Hill.Salary and Benefits:Competitive starting annual salary of $65,000 to $70,000.Generous paid leave, including parental leave.Substantial monthly healthcare contribution.Employer contribution to retirement plans.Client acquisition commissions.Flexible work hours, including a combination of core and "on-call" hours, which often allows for early weekends or extended holiday leave.Application Process:To apply, please submit your résumé, cover letter, and a recently published writing sample (within the past two years) to jobs@.Candidates whose applications are shortlisted will be contacted for a phone interview.
