Senior Strategic Procurement and Commercial ManagerThe OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Strategic Procurement and Commercial Manager. In this role, you will lead procurement and commercial strategy, manage supplier relationships, and oversee mobilizations to support the companys objectives. You will collaborate with internal teams"”including operations and finance"”as well as external stakeholders.This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia, with some travel to client offices required.About YouYou are a proactive and articulate Strategic Procurement and Commercial Management professional with significant expertise in the U.S. Facility Management (FM) sector. A relevant degree is highly advantageous.You excel in stakeholder and supplier relationship management (SRM), with the ability to build strong client and vendor relationships. A well-established supplier network within the facilities marketplace is a strong advantage, as is experience with ESG initiatives. Knowledge of both hard and soft services & assets is beneficial.You bring strong commercial acumen, with experience or training in contract law and contract formulation being an advantage. You are digitally savvy, with advanced skills in Procurement software, Microsoft Excel, and the full MS Office suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.). Experience with Power BI and CAFM systems is a strong plus. A CIPS/APICS qualification or equivalent training is desirable.You are diligent and analytical, with excellent organization, planning, and leadership skills. Your negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are top-notch, and you thrive both autonomously and as part of a team. You embrace multiculturalism and diversity and can work flexibly and remotely when needed.Your Responsibilities Will *****Leading the procurement and commercial function in the U.S.Developing strategic procurement initiatives, including supplier sourcing, selection, negotiation, SRM, preferred supplier programs, and spend analysis.Managing commercial strategy and contracts, including tenders/RfX, pricing, benchmarking, savings, contract formation and review, negotiations, change control, budget management, and scope/specification efficiencies.Overseeing supplier onboarding through the procurement platform and collaborating with operations, QHSE, and finance teams.Leading supply chain mobilization, stabilization, and transformation for new accounts.Ensuring compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory standards while supporting ethical and sustainable procurement, including social value, supplier diversity, and modern slavery prevention.Maintaining key procurement records, including the contract register, supplier directory, and SharePoint portal.Drafting procurement and contractual documents and monitoring supplier performance.Keeping industry knowledge up to date and maintaining a strong professional network.Promoting SCM best practices within the organization.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in procurement and commercial strategy for a leading organization.
