This position's primary responsibility is to perform Inside Sales Representative related tasks under the direct supervision of the General Manager and direction from the Sales Executive. The Inside Sales Representative makes calls to inform potential clients about the service and to set and pre-qualify sales appointments. Our client list includes a variety of customer businesses including banks, car dealerships, churches, department stores, hotels, medical facilities, office buildings, production facilities, tech companies, food industry, non-profit organizations, and schools, among others. This position's primary responsibility is to meet/exceed individual/company account sales objectives.This role reports directly to company General Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Solicits and qualifies sales appointmentsMaintains current and accurate daily records of prospect contact for solicitation and follow-upConducts telephone solicitations as directed by the Office Manager or Sales ExecutiveCollaborates with Sales Executive to achieve weekly appointment targets using lead sources andcompany databaseSelf-generate appointments via marketing initiatives, community new-business listings, direct mailand email campaignsResearch emerging industry prospectsManage schedule of calls in company database of past prospects and former customersParticipate and build Teamwork and SuccessMeet/exceed standards of professionalism and appointment to sale objectivesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:· High School diploma or GED required· Minimum of 2 years previous experience in sales or telemarketing REQUIRED· Excellent written and verbal English communicationSKILL SET:Clear, present, professional and friendly telephone mannerStrong working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookProficient in use of the InternetAbility to take detailed and accurate notes and messages and document prospect and clientinformation in electronic databaseRelationship buildingProblem solvingExcellent organization & time managementMotivation to familiarize about new products in the industryPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS· Ability to function in high-pressure situations· Manual dexterity to operate a computer· Clear, easy to understand oral communication ability· Ability to sit for prolonged periodsPERSONAL TRAITS:Hunter Mentality/Driven to SucceedOutgoing Personality with Excellent Communication SkillsHigh Integrity/TrustworthinessSelf-Directed/MotivatedCollaborative/Team PlayerResponsible/AccountableApproachable & PassionateCOMPENSATION:Part-time $20 per hourJan-Pro Sacramento offers a rewarding compensation plan, including a very competitive pay, 5% commission on all contract starts, and holidays/vacations.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
