The ideal candidate will have experience with business development in the international freight forwarding industry.Logistics Sales Representative Responsibilities **Make appointments with new clients and travel to the locations to develop new businessCommunicate with both existing and new clients to resolve their issues and develop solutionsUnderstand specification of service, present to customers, and negotiate pricesCommunicate with clients regarding satisfaction, documentation, and complianceOther Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.Logistics Sales Representative **Bachelor Degree or professional certification, or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years Work Experience with freight forwarding companyAt least 5 years Sales / Business Development work experienceExcellent communication skills. Must be able to meet new customers and build relationshipsMust be able to communicate fluently in both written and verbal EnglishMust be able to travelMust have valid driver's license with a clear recordThis position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
