Sales ManagerJob SummaryThe Sales Manager position is responsible for managing all sales-related activities associated with International/Outbound and Pavilion sales into assigned events from the portfolio. The primary responsibility is to execute sales activities resulting in the generation of target revenues for assigned territory. Job ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain territory development plan addressing the following for all events within assigned territory:Create and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual sales and marketing plans with quantitative metrics for performance analysis and accurate forecastingMeet sales goals and objectivesManage operations (sales orders) for U.S. Pavilions in assigned eventsThorough understanding or working with complex budgets, as well as the ability to create event financial reports and provide detailed forecasts.Outbound Sales: The sale of U.S. based exhibiting organizations into assigned events from the global portfolioU.S. Pavilion Sales: Sale and Management of exhibit space and operations orders for U.S. Pavilions at specific events within the global portfolioEvent Sales for Exhibit Space, Sponsorships and Marketing / Advertising OpportunitiesAbility to perform under minimal supervision and work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met.Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree in related fieldExperience in tradeshow or conference sales, sponsorship and/or marketing management fieldTravel for this position is 25-35%, must be able to travel internationally.Valid US passport with no restrictions Essential Job FunctionsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timePosition constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a computer, copier, and printerThis person in this position frequently communicates with other departments.
