Electrical Controls Engineer** Atlanta, GA (10-15% travel)Role * Seeking a senior Electrical Controls Engineer to provide expertise in project design, commissioning, and start-up.Key *Apply engineering principles to process and packaging systems.Manage electrical controls projects, including design, programming, documentation, and start-up support.Develop/upgrade PLC and HMI systems, create electrical schematics, and design control panels.Ensure timely project delivery with a focus on accuracy and safety.Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.10+ years of process controls engineering experience.Consulting and hands-on project execution experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and MS Project.Experience with industrial control systems, Rockwell VFDs, PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, and communication networks.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Essential ***Fieldwork required.Must be able to climb ladders and walk throughout large manufacturing plants.Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.10+ years of process controls engineering experience.Consulting and hands-on project execution experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and MS Project.Experience with industrial control systems, Rockwell VFDs, PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, and communication networks.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
