Property Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a 100-unit apartment complex in S. Glens Falls. The ideal candidate must have prior experience managing Section 8 housing and a strong background in property operations, compliance, and tenant relations.Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, ensuring compliance with HUD and Section 8 regulations.Manage leasing, rent collection, and resident relations to maintain high occupancy and tenant satisfaction.Supervise maintenance and vendor activities to ensure timely repairs and property upkeep.Handle annual recertifications, inspections, and compliance reporting.Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and expense controls.Address resident concerns and foster a positive community atmosphere.Qualifications:3+ years of property management experience, with a focus on affordable housing/Section 8 properties.Strong knowledge of HUD guidelines and compliance requirements.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Experience with property management software and financial reporting.Benefits:Competitive salary and potential bonuses.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and professional development opportunities.
