Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.Must Haves:8-10 years in an industrial electrician role or automationExperience with controller programs such as PLC, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and SiemensMust have documented notarized letters from previous employers to obtain their union card (Unless they already have their Journeyman card, they don't need it)Experience with pumps, motors, speed, and feed systemsExperience with Machine repair or mechanic craft areasWorking knowledge of electrical prints and schematics. Someone who has a good sense of how to diagnose and look at a circuit and know how to break it down.Day to day:Insight Global is looking for an Industrial Electrician to join our facilities team to service our automotive client in Pontiac, MI. Main function of this role is to provide necessary skill sets required to perform the maintenance and repair preserve the physical assets of the building, systems, and equipment under the direction of the Facility and Operations Manager.
