Director of Preconstruction

Director of Preconstruction Location: Hybrid - Manhattan Salary: $150,000 + $180,000 + Bonus Piper Maddox is partnered with a developer on search for a Director of Preconstruction. In this position, you will manage late-stage development projects into early construction for a number of renewable energy projectsKey Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates and manage the RFP bidding process.Review and assess bids, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Visit project sites to verify conditions and meet stakeholders.Develop and implement preconstruction strategies, evaluating potential risks.Maintain relationships with EPC and vendor partners.Source pricing and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery logistics.Develop preliminary construction schedules and manage project costs.Facilitate smooth transitions from development to construction teams.Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience in estimating, budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and project management, ideally within renewable energy.If you are interested in the position, please click apply with an updated copy of your resume.
