Our DFW Texas Heavy Highway Division is seeking team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented individuals who are looking for new learning experiences, and a desire to contribute to our clients' success.The Project Manager will direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesWhere applicable, direct and oversee CRAFT employees regarding construction, operations, and/or maintenance tasks and assignments at a project site.Manage and Develop 1 to 5 Direct Reports. Could be Project Engineers, Superintendents, or Interns.Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsible for safety and overall performance of projects assigned.Review and maintain quality control.Track progress of project compared to Baseline Schedule.Review/Manage job cost on regular basis.Prepare/Negotiate change orders when necessary.Ensure accurate prompt payment from Owners and to vendors and subcontractors.Coordinate/communicate project activities with inspectors/owner representatives.Communicate project progress, issues, and needs with supervisors in a timely manner.Prepare 3 Week look ahead schedule for the project.Prepare & Update P6 Project Schedule.Plan project activities at least 6 months ahead.Assign resources to the project in terms of equipment, labor, and material.Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.Gain the respect of others by being fair, honest, reliable, and hard working.Complete all necessary paperwork.Perform duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.Other unlisted duties will be assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesAbility to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
