You will leverage BSI's existing relationships and resources, successfully sell, and consult on a range of Occupational Health, Safety, and Industrial Hygiene projects. This is an opportunity for a senior-level professional looking to advance their career with a global EHS leader, and to make a significant impact in successfully implementing BSIs global strategy.Responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of a strategic business/action planThrough business development, sales, and client relationships, expand the Northwest and National US client base across multiple industry sectorsIdentify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clientsDevelop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business, including consulting and compliance servicesServe as senior resource for Occupational Health, Safety, and/or Industrial Hygiene program marketing, project implementation, and related activitiesAchieve client's expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and qualityLead, manage performance, hire, and retain, inspire and mentor EHS personnel for overall success of the practiceDesired areas of consulting experience include:EHS conformance assessments and risk assessmentsProgram development and implementationDeveloping and delivering EHS trainingEnvironmental plans, permits, reporting, etc. (air, water, wastewater, hazardous waste, etc.)EHS & ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits and program developmentTo be successful in the role, you will have:15+ years of Occupational Health, Safety, and Industrial Hygiene consulting experienceBS/MS in industrial hygiene, biology, environmental/civil/chemical engineering, environmental studies, or related science degree is preferredCIH, CSP, CHMM, CPEA, or similar registration desiredA solid track record of at least five (5) years of successful business development and sales experience in a professional services environmentEstablished relationships in the technology, pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, higher education institutions, manufacturing, and/or construction industry sectors is preferredProven track record in developing and implementing successful sales and market share growth strategiesDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, and drive salesSolid grasp of management issues, as well as a high degree of technical competence and broad knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety, and Industrial Hygiene program best practicesWhat we offer: BSI offers a competitive total reward package, an independent and varied job in an international environment, flexible working hours, ongoing training and development with the inclusion of 20-days annual leave, bank holidays, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(K) with company contribution, short-term and long-term disability, maternal leave, paid parental leave, paid bereavement leave, learning and development opportunities, and a wide range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle.
