The company provides expert guidance to ensure clients achieve cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.Job SummaryMy client are actively seeking a Cost Estimator with a strong background in construction cost analysis to join their team. This role involves working as an Owner's Representative, providing accurate cost estimates, analyzing budgets, and ensuring projects remain financially viable from concept through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed cost estimates for infrastructure, healthcare, educational, and federal projects throughout the North East & North Atlantic regions.Review construction plans, specifications, and contracts to assess cost implications.Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.Analyze contractor bids and negotiate pricing on behalf of clients.Monitor project budgets and provide real-time cost tracking.Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align budgets with project goals.Ensure compliance with NYC construction codes, market conditions, and industry best practices.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in cost estimating, preferably in an Owner's Representative or general contracting role.Strong understanding of NYC construction costs, labor rates, and material pricing.Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, RSMeans).Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Performance-based bonuses.Health insurance and 401(k) plan.Professional development and training opportunities.Unrivalled company culture.If you're a detail-oriented cost estimator who thrives in a client-facing role, we'd love to hear from you.
