Attollo Engineering is looking to hire a Cooler Engineering Technician.Job Description: As a cooler specialist at Attollo Engineering, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing high-precision Stirling cooler prototypes. Role and ResponsibilitiesIncoming inspection of cooler parts and sub-assemblies, use of laser micrometers and air gagesOrganize and maintain cooler parts inventory Fabrication of different types of cryocooler prototypes Documentation of assembly processesHand soldering of cable harnesses Inspection, functional tests of sub-assemblies like motors and other key cooler componentsPreparation of cooler test setups, cooler performance characterizationAssist with failure analysis at cooler prototypesCooler production supportQualifications and Education Requirements3+ years of professional experienceCoursework in Industrial Manufacturing Technology or related fieldsExperience with assembling and testing electro-mechanical precision prototypes and products Able to read and interpret blueprintsExperience with MS OfficeAssociate degree preferredPreferred SkillsMachining of precision parts (Lathe, Mill, etc.)Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
