This position is available due to a recent departure and offers the opportunity to work closely with a team of attorneys on complex civil litigation cases.Why Join Us?Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 (Direct Hire)Contract-to-Hire Rate: $45 per hourHybrid Work Option: After one month in-office, hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) available for permanent hiresComprehensive Benefits PackageHealth, dental, and vision insurance (PPO/EPO options)Short- and long-term disability insurance401(k) plan with firm contributionsGenerous PTO and vacation policyEmployee assistance and wellness programsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years of experience in complex civil litigation, including product liability, construction defect, transportation, and personal injury defenseStrong legal research, investigative, and document preparation skillsProficiency with legal software, including LexisNexis, Pacer, Relativity, Sanction, TrialPad, iManage, and e-filing in both State and Federal courtsBachelors degree preferredThe RoleManage case files from inception through resolutionDraft subpoenas, discovery requests, responses, pleadings, and legal documentsAssist attorneys with depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparationConduct legal research and investigate facts, including social media vettingPrepare and organize trial exhibits, witness materials, and trial presentationsWork closely with a team of five attorneys while also providing cross-office litigation supportWork Schedule8:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMContract Role: In-office 5 days per weekDirect Hire: In-office for the first month, then hybrid (3 days in-office per week)Interview ProcessStep 1: Zoom interview with Director of Legal Support and Paralegal ManagerStep 2: Zoom interview with an AttorneyThis role offers broad litigation exposure, the chance to take ownership of high-level responsibilities, and a collaborative work environment.
