The Construction Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed program schedules for various construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are properly planned and executed.**Create and manage comprehensive construction schedules, outlining the project's relationships, dependencies, milestones, and constraints.Independently interpret and review detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) to fully understand the scope of work.Review contractor's baseline schedule submissions, ensuring that all work scope is properly identified and logically sequenced. Provide detailed written feedback on schedule accuracy and completeness.Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on contractor schedule submissions, ensuring alignment with contract terms. Review critical path, cost and resource loading, schedule content, recovery schedules, logic relationships, constraints, and milestones.Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) for any change orders affecting the construction schedule and engage in schedule negotiations with the Owner's Authorized Representative (OAR) and contractors to resolve delays or time extensions.Analyze construction drawings to verify work scope and assess the merit of compensable or non-compensable time extensions based on contract terms.Conduct Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis to track project progress.Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, assess schedule adherence, and report findings to the project OAR and management.Effectively communicate with contractors regarding schedule and progress issues during weekly status and other schedule-related meetings.Perform regular QA/QC reviews of the program schedule to ensure accuracy and integrity.Provide bi-monthly updates for Program/Master Schedules to ensure up-to-date reporting.Ensure the proper application of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports to maintain data integrity.Act as a liaison between project teams, department leadership, and the Program & Project Controls department to facilitate effective communication.Prepare reports as requested by management.Required Skills and **A minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience in construction scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facility or public works projects.Proficiency in Primavera (latest version) and MS Office Suite.
