Residential Groundskeeper

Pay: $50,000 - $55,000/year + a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, STD & LTD, Life Insurance, 401k with a company match, and 3-week of PTOOverview: Our client, the Founder of an investment services company, is seeking a Residential Care taker responsible for primarily exterior property care and light interior property care to one residence in Cherry Hills Village. This position has a standard working schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with potential afterhours requirements should an emergency arise. To be successful in this role, someone must communicate well and have experience in landscaping, repair/maintenance, painting, and light plumbing and electrical.Job Duties include but are not limited to...Grounds/Landscape Maintenance:Daily cleaning and maintenance of landscapeSupplemental mowing and trimming - Basic weekly mowing and trimming to be performed by contractorRegular inspection of groundsReplacement of plantings as necessaryManagement and care for overall plant healthInsect/pest treatmentWeedingMulch refreshTree trimmingPlant trimming and thinningPlanting bed maintenancePlanters/pots maintenanceIrrigation system repair and maintenanceSeasonal landscape preparation to include leaf removal and planting bed preparationGeneral upkeep of pond to include routing cleaning, water level maintenance and care of fishRepair/Maintenance:Regular inspections of property to include interior/exteriorInterior and exterior lighting repair and maintenanceRepair and maintenance of all aspects of home and propertyGeneral painting and staining upkeep of structures and fencingGutter/downspout cleaningCare and cleaning of structure exteriorsGeneral:Regular reporting of findings and repair status/completion to supervisor/OwnerReport to the supervisor/owner and assist in coordinating larger or specialized repairs as neededVendor coordination as necessaryWindow and screen cleaning to include interior and exteriorVehicle washing and cleaning as necessaryAdditional duties and responsibilities as necessary and/or assignedRequirements:Proven experience in landscaping and maintenance workAbility to pass a background and drug screeningStrong communication skillsAbility to travel locally (less than 10%) to include trips to pick up supplies and travel to special projects as necessaryPrimarily responsible for 1 property but may be required to assist at additional properties as directed and is subject to change as need and special projects ariseResponsibilities include maintaining the landscaping, grounds and structures at the properties therefore is a physical role and requires regular walking, bending, kneeling, standing, lifting, etc. to perform the necessary dutiesBasic maintenance skillsetMust be able to lift at least 50 pounds
