Some of the most recognized restaurant names in the US are already customers.We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, deployment, and optimization of Presto Voice. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development as well as experience with LLMs. If youve trained your own ML model or have built something using LLM APIs or your own model, tell us about it.ResponsibilitiesAbility to quickly understand a codebase and contribute with minimal hand-holding.Wrangle and filter messy data to ensure models are trained efficiently.Optimize model performance for scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.Stay up to date with the latest advancements.Leverage the latest coding assistants like Copilot, Cursor, etc.QualificationsBachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.Experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on deploying models or using LLMs in production.Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks is a plus.Experience working with cloud platforms and APIs(AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deploying AI solutions at scale.Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.The U.S. base salary range for this position is approximately $160,000 - $ 200,000 annually + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all U.S. locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Presto, it is not typical for the individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role; compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances for each case.
