Designer, Intimate Apparel-Temp-to-Perm

We are looking for a Freelance Designer-Intimate Apparel, Bras, shapewear and sleepwear for a top fashion company in NYC!Responsibilities:Create brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategyDevelop seasonal product with a focus on style, fit and fabricAdapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalizationImplement processes to understand/anticipate the needs of the customer in order to exceed customer expectations and readily react to their needsDeliver product designs with flawless execution; achieving goals with speed, agility and acute attention to detailIdentify and recommend resources in sourcing new ideas, both internally and externally, and conduct ongoing competitor research/trend analysisCollaborate and communicate with key partners throughout the design process including Merchandising, Marketing, and Product DevelopmentPresent designs to internal leader/team as well as key cross-functional partnersExecute design sketches/prototypes and provide specificationsAnticipate/solve potential issues and provide conflict resolutionManage, inspire and develop junior design talentBuild/maintain collaborative and effective relationshipsAssess practices to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and speed in deliveryEnsure deliverables meet budget and time commitments without compromising design excellenceRequired Qualifications:Exceptional talent with a commercial fashion eye and detail in product styling/performanceExperience with intimates, swim or apparelDemonstrated ability to create original design sketches and successful product linesCustomer service philosophyCollaborative partner with a team-oriented approachHighly motivated, passionate and results orientedSolid communication and presentation skillsUnderstand how to motivate and develop talentChampion for change and able to react with speed and agilityFlexible and creative problem solverPersonal professionalism and accountabilityModerate domestic and minimal international travelBachelors degree in Design or equivalent experience7+ years of design experience in a comparable retail environmentMicrosoft Office proficiency & Adobe Creative SuiteStrong presentation skillsIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
