Our client, an iconic American Menswear brand based in NYC is seeking an experienced Global Merchandise Manager. This is an 8 month contract. This company operates on a hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite and 2 remote days on a weekly basis.**Develop Merchandising time and action calendar to hit key target market datesOversees the compilation of assortment communication (sell-in) tools in NuOrder to Ensure all partners understand products available to buyEnsures related product details are complete, i.e. imagery, costing, retail priceEnsures a compelling presentation of product assortments to sell-in to external partners across a multi-channel business modeCollaborates w/ Geo Buying and International CFT to understand product performance, identifies opportunities to respond to changes through impact to future product developmentNegotiate best price to achieve margin goals aligned to sales financial objectivesManage vendor matrix in accordance with sourcing strategiesDevelop and maintain relationships with key suppliersManage accurate buy plan for each seasonWork cross-functionally with design and sales on new development ideas, current business trends, best sellers, and ongoing styles5+ years' experience in merchandising and sourcing3 years of management expereinceStrong Men's lifestyle product knowledge and competitive landscapeExperience working with fabric/mills and garment testing knowledgeGreat eye for product, color, and styleStrong interpersonal skillsBachelor's degreeIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
