Interior Designer Level II

HPA Design Group is seeking a Level IIInterior Designerto joinour team to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of the day-to-day production of multi-family interior design projects to meet deadlines accurately. ResponsibilitiesProvide project admin support to designers and managersDesign multifamily projectsInteract with clients semi-regularlyCoordinate with other professionals such as contractors, architects, engineers and other consultants to ensure job success.Develop strong relationships with vendorsPrepare and manage furniture budgetsUtilize vendors and materials knowledge to create unique and innovative presentationsSuccessful at multi-tasking to meet fast paced project deadlinesProduce documentation, detailed instructions, drawings and specificationsAssist in requesting pricing for budgetary purposesAdheres to building codes & ADA compliance throughout project lifecycleManage and coordinate installsRecord meeting minutesPull furniture, art, and accessory selections.Domestic travel is requiredSit in on conference callsQualifications and SkillsBachelors degree in interior designExperience should be relevant to multifamily.Technical proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office SuiteBluebeam, Revit & SketchUp is desirableExcellent analytical & problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal skillsAbility to develop collaborative relationships across the firm and with clientsAbility to clearly communicate design ideas and concepts verbally and digitallyDevelop strong intercompany relationshipsDepartment/Reporting RelationshipsStudio member on interior design teamReports to the Project Manager with a secondary reporting relationship to the assigned Senior Designer (Level 4)/Design LeadSupports Senior Designer (Level 4)/Design Lead as neededThis job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities required for this job.
