Freelance Technical Designer - Intimates & Sleepwear

We are looking for a Freelance Technical Designer for sleepwear, loungewear, bras and panties. This is a freelance position and operates 5 days onsite in their NYC office.**Executes the technical design process from development to final fit.Analyzes and evaluates garments to develop the correct fit specifications.Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors / factories for approvals and corrections.Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure the integrity of design-approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.Required *Bachelors degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience.5-8+ years experience in technical design.Excellent problem solver.Ability to maintain composure in a stressful situation.If this job description matches your background, please apply!The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
