Job descriptionBasic **BS/BA or Associates Degree with 5 or more years of directly related experience5-7 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry-MUST3 years of manufacturing supervisory/manager experience or similar leadership roleGood knowledge of Solid Oral Dosage/Tablet Manufacturing- REQUIRED Warehouse Inventory Management experience -REQUIREDHot Melt Extrusion, Fluid Bed, Coating, and GranulationPreferred *Strong quality/compliance orientation and track recordExcellent interpersonal and leadership skillsStrong influence and relationship building skills with an emphasis on teamworkAbility to lift 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally*Reporting to the Site Head, you will manage daily manufacturing operations of market entry and commercial manufacturing facility that produces pharmaceuticals for clinical and commercial purposes. Provides first line supervision to Manufacturing Associates, conduct granulations, tablet compression, encapsulation, tablet coating, hot melt extrusion, and putting finished product on stability. Serves as a leader in regards to process and system optimization, driving continuous improvement. Manage warehouse inventory.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise all production and warehouse activitiesPerform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with site SOP's, EHS standards and guidelines and relevant legal requirements and ensure that their teams do the same.Supports successful implementation of new products and processes into the facility, including all appropriate equipment and area changeover activities.Develops Manufacturing Associate work assignments to meet production schedules and to assure that resources are used efficiently and that product delivery targets are met.Review GMP documents i.e. SOP's, BPR's etc.Accountable for Manufacturing Associate development and/or performance management though activities such as assignments and associated technical training programs.Initiates/support/lead cross functional and cross departmental planning, learning, collaboration and teamwork to deliver high quality results.Demonstrated higher level of leadership capability by optimizing manufacturing and process improvements and the capacity to stand in for the production manager.Job ** Full-time**401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance10 hour shift8 hour shiftOvertimeWeekends as neededWork *** In personcareers@
