The role involves working with facilities, plant teams, and suppliers to ensure seamless production startup and adherence to program milestones. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of powertrain/propulsion manufacturing processes and plant operations.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with facilities and plant teams to manage equipment dismantling and transportation to Client plants.Ensure all customs paperwork is accurate and compliant with import regulations.Support import procedures by working closely with brokers.Oversee the delivery and installation of equipment at Client plants.Ensure production startup aligns with program timing milestones.Assist plant teams in working with suppliers to meet launch curve production rates.Provide troubleshooting support and coordinate warranty responses for early equipment failures.Verify the receipt and installation of stations and conveyor sections at Client plants.Generate weekly reports detailing program progress and status updates.Ensure compliance with start-of-production (SOP) milestones for each program.Work with suppliers and internal teams to achieve efficient production ramp-up.Monitor and support warranty coverage for early equipment failures.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.2+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or plant operations.Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, particularly powertrain and propulsion systems.Experience in plant operations, process improvement, and equipment installation.Ability to coordinate with suppliers, customs brokers, and internal teams.Strong troubleshooting skills to address equipment failures and production inefficiencies.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with global supply chains and customs regulations.Familiarity with warranty management and supplier coordination.Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.Previous experience in powertrain/propulsion system production.ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
