This role is primarily focused on dimensional and process development testing for medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in regulated environments, particularly in testing and working with medical devices.Key *Perform dimensional testing and process development testing in a regulated environmentConduct hands-on device testing in an R&D lab settingAssist with conditioning products and working with outside testing housesMaintain calibration of equipment and ensure all testing is compliant with regulationsFacilitate procedures and assist with ordering lab supplies as neededWork closely with a team of technicians, engineers, and metrologistsRequired Skills and *Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device testing, mechanical testing, or a related fieldExperience in dimensional testingHands-on device experience, preferably in a regulated environmentFamiliarity with testing processes in medical device R&D (more focused on technical testing rather than quality control)Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred *Experience working on development projects with larger business unit-level interactionsFamiliarity with regulated environments such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar fieldsSoft **Clear communication skills and comfortability with admitting when unsureAbility to handle constructive criticism and incorporate feedback into workComfortable working both independently and in a team-oriented environment
