If you share our vision of driving the transition to a low-carbon future and are eager to develop your skills for tomorrow, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, reporting directly to Director of Electrical Engineering to join our Engineering team based in Claremont, CA.About The JobAs a Senior Electrical Engineer you will work on a project task force team completing technical and economic feasibility studies, licensed technology based process design packages, and act as project lead for detailed engineering activities. You will be a self-motivated professional with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of ten years experience.We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.ResponsibilitiesPrepare load summary, single lines, protection diagrams for MV & HV switchgear, motors/generators, transformers and MCCs. Perform load flow, short circuit analysis, transient motor starting studies, harmonic analysis, protection relay setting calculations & coordination curves using ETAP and /or SKM software.Prepare electrical equipment specifications, data sheets, scope of work/work packages. Carry out technical bid analysis and review of vendor drawings.Prepare substation equipment layouts, schematics & wiring drawings.Possible domestic/international field assignments may be requiredQualificationsBachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldA minimum of 10 years of experience in petrochemical, refinery, renewables or power generation projects.California or Texas Professional Engineer preferredFamiliar with NEC, IEC, CEC, ANSI, IEEE, API and NEMA standards.BenefitsBase Salary: $130,000 - $165,000Competitive benefits packageHybrid work scheduleChance to work with a diverse team and experts in a growing industryCollaborative and innovative work environment with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge projectWhat's next?Starting Date: ASAPOnce receiving your application, a recruiter performs an initial check and a review is further carried by hiring manager.
