Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job ***** Mechanical Engineer** We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting the selection, estimation, and design of machinery equipment.Key *Design and develop new equipment and systems, as well as redesign existing systems.Prepare detailed pressure vessel package specifications.Clarify and evaluate vendor proposals.Develop technical bid evaluations and create technical requisition purchase packages.Conduct equipment design reviews.Support all phases of pressure vessel and pressure system (PV/S) design, including fabrication, repair, alteration, testing, inspection, and fitness-for-service analysis.Review vendor drawings, calculations, and other documentation.Perform mechanical, thermal, and structural design and analysis of pressure vessel assemblies.Identify specific services related to drums, vessels, columns, column internals, filters, coalescers, storage tanks, etc.Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to provide mechanical and equipment support for all process designs.Required ****Industrial equipment designUnderstanding of safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals and process HAZOP.Knowledge of ASME codes, API standards, and NBIC regulations, including ASME Section VIII Div1 & 2 codes, API 650/620, API 579, and other industry standards used in pressure vessel design. Familiarity with US local regulations (CFR, etc.) is a plus.Experience in the Industrial Gases, Oil & Gas, or Refining and Petrochemical Industry is highly desirable.3-5+ years of experience working with reactors, separation columns, heat exchangers, high-pressure storage vessels, etc.Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
