This position pays between $45/hr - $56/hr. on W2No C2Cs Need To Apply*Our client, an established EV Manufacture, has a need for a Sr. Engineer, Side Mirrors for a10-month contract or through 12/31/2025.Onsite 100% M-FWe are currently seeking a Sr Engineer, Side Mirrors. This position requires experienced professionals with a responsibility for designing and developing side mirrors of a world class vehicle in terms of both styling and function. Our ideal candidates exhibit a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. Will also act as a mentor to more junior engineers.Your Role• Lead or play a leading role in the packaging, engineering design, release and launch of OSRVM (Side Rear View Mirror) systems of a state-of-the-art car.• Create cutting edge exterior systems focusing on quality, reliability, functionality, mass and cost efficiency.• Work interactively within a cross functional studio and vehicle engineering team, placing priority upon the greater benefit of the vehicle above any one individual system.• Employ and develop world class engineering tools and an innovative approach to support the systems generation.• Will also act as a mentor to more junior engineers.Qualifications• 2+years for Engineer or 5+ years for Sr. Engineer level of experience in vehicle side mirrors design & development. • A flair for creative engineering and 3D problem solving.• Proven experience creating complex CAD schemes and models to an excellent standard, preferably using CATIA V5 or V6• Proven experience with OSRVM (Side Rear View Mirror) systems, thermoplastic & thermoset resin materials and class A manufacturing technologies• A good understanding of the range of computational tools available to design engineers• Launch experience• Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.Advantageous• Prior experience with side mirrors, including deep understanding of mechanism system integration, plastics design, Class A surfaces, fit and finish, gap and flush, structural design, paint (matching), sensor integration. • Hands on experience through an automotive product development cycle• A strong desire to create the very best product, working as an integral part of a very capable team• Well-developed team working and interpersonal skills• A great work ethicEducation• Bachelor of Science (minimum) in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline. • Advanced Degree is advantageous.Applicants should apply via The Mice Groups Inc. website () or through this careers site posting.An Annual Performance Bonus Plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered by our client.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at The Mice Groups Inc.
