Milestones Psychology, a group practice of child psychologists, social workers, and neuropsychologists in Manhattan, seeks an experienced psychometric technician. Under the supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist, the psychometric technician will administer and score neuropsychological assessments and write background sections of reports for children and teenage students. This position is full-time. It is ideal for someone with an interest in psychology and childhood education.The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong multitasking and organizational skills. Given the nature of the position, the ideal candidate is also mature, compassionate, and has a warm personality. Moreover, this candidate must have strong behavioral observation skills and a proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Participate in and contribute to family, patient and/or school feedback sessions.Maintain test materials in proper working orderAssist in scheduling patients for testing, confirming appointments, and assist in maintaining patient files.Job *1-3 years of experience or education in mental and behavioral health or childhood educationBachelor's degree requiredMust have experience with psychological test administration and scoring.
