HRIS Analyst / UKG SystemLocation: Livermore, CaDirect Hire / FTESalary: $80k - $110k / YearLocal Candidates Highly DesiredThis position will also help set the company direction for data analytics. They will work with the HR leaders to identify key HR metrics, set appropriate benchmarks and provide analysis on the organizational health of the company. They will assist other key functions (compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, etc.) across the HR community in their efforts to identify measurable goals and assess progress. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for UKG system maintenance, optimization, configuration, data integrity, reporting requirements, user education, testing, analysis and support of HRIS. This position will partner with internal and external business stakeholders to increase business efficiencies and automate business processes through the UKG platform. This person will be a critical part of our HR team helping to deliver solutions that enable the business to accomplish goals. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned support areas and ensures that UKG serves the needs for all users. This person will report to the Director of Human Resources and will work collaboratively across the HR team, and in partnership with IT. This position would ensure that their HR data/ information is accurate, secure, and available as needed.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKECollect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the UKG human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, Exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors practices, and other sources.Based on metrics and analysis, make recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.Develop and maintain HR Dashboards, reports, and audit tools that turn complex data into actionable insights to meet business needs.Leverage advanced UKG reporting features, including calculated fields and composite reports.Collaborate with HR team and business leaders to optimize UKG modules and ensure they align with organizational objectives.Manage and maintain the configuration of UKG, including modules related to core HR, talent management, performance management, and ensure proper security roles are assigned and maintained.Conduct business needs assessments, gap analysis and data analysis to provide recommendations for process improvements.Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Translate business requirements into UKG functional specifications and configurations that optimize HR and the organization process. Analyze data and statistics for trends regarding recruitment practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws.Evaluate and refine system settings, rules and integrations to enhance efficiency and compliance. Manage seamless data integrations across platforms, ensuring a smooth and consistent flow of information.Develop and deliver employee training as well as user guides, job aids, training materials and other documentation to facilitate self-service feature.Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.Assist in developing strategies for talent acquisition, employee development, retention and succession planning.Identify, recommend, and assist with systems and process improvements.Provides data support for various audits.Assist with filing of 5500, EEO-1, and other compliance reporting as needed.Partner with Compensation team to evaluate positions in the organization and recommend options to streamline jobs and align compensation plans.Manage the annual Associate Opinion Survey process, analyze the results, and lead discussions on how to implement initiatives to improve key areas.Will conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexemptCreate and maintain process documents and training materials for all systems as applicableFamiliarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure that HR meets organizational needs. Should any new companies be acquired, this position will be responsible for setting up the integration plans.Not a comprehensive list of duties. Duties may change without notice at managements sole discretionWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL Bachelors degree required 3+ years of experience as HRIS administrator / data analyst, preferably in an HR environment 5 Years of database management or related experience2+ years of "UKG Ready" experience highly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SharepointElevated level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethicsKnowledge of standard methodologies in HRIS, talent management, performance management, building reports and dashboards.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
