Electrical Controls EngineerThe Electrical Controls Engineer will be the subject matter expert for instrumentation and controls, supporting both operations and project engineering. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving electrical and controls issues, commissioning new control systems, and developing standards and guidelines for automation and electrical infrastructure. This role will also lead and review electrical and controls scopes of work, oversee contractor activities, and ensure compliance with project specifications.***** BS in Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & ControlsExpertise in troubleshooting instrumentation, panel wiring, and programming variable frequency drivesVendor Management ExperienceExpertise in Electrical Controls Engineering and looking for leadership in this area as well. Setting up and programming control systemSelecting hardware for control panelsLow voltage control and high voltage experienceTroubleshooting control related issuesProficiency in reading ladder logic, electrical diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagramsExperience with Highway Addressable Remote Transducer devices, process measurement, and PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred)Familiarity with Motor Control Center, power distribution, and NEC/NFPA 70 standardsAbility to travel 35% for project support - mostly day travel
