The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience in designing instrumentation and control systems, with strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and Excel. Experience with MicroStation, CADWorx, BlueBeam, and Access is a plus.Key **Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine instrumentation and control system designs.Oversee design processes, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and adherence to project deadlines.Interpret and modify P&IDs, interlock schematics, and motor schematics.Develop wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, demo packages, I/O loading plans, junction boxes, marshalling panels, and DCS/PLC cabinets with BOMs.Create instrument installation details and generate material take-offs to support project estimates.Design conduit and cable tray layouts, ensuring proper support details and sizing based on industry codes and client standards.Apply low-voltage electrical knowledge for instrumentation, including 120 VAC & 24 VDC power distribution, instrument power panels, and NEC grounding/bonding compliance.Conduct field surveys and assist in planning/executing hot/cold cutovers.Maintain a proactive, self-motivated approach, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards with minimal supervision.Work with fiber optic routing and general fiber optic principles as required.Qualifications & **5-10+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Control System Design for Oil & Gas Refineries and Chemical Plants.Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and Excel (MicroStation, CADWorx, BlueBeam, and Access are preferred).Strong leadership in design team coordination and technical direction.Solid understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.Excellent problem-solving, time management, and client interaction skills.
