Automation Engineer

The Sr. Automation Engineer will provide technical expertise in Automation and Electrical Engineering to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure product quality.**Lead the Automation Engineering Team.Mentor engineers and technicians on manufacturing projects.Optimize manufacturing processes using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Develop and review electrical, wiring, and safety standards.Recommend new equipment or modifications to improve operations.Recommend maintenance procedures and spare parts inventory.Design and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.Program, troubleshoot, and update PLCs, robots, and vision systems**Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in Automation or Manufacturing Engineering.Expertise in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.Experience in troubleshooting electrical/electronic issues in manufacturing equipment.Proficiency in programming/troubleshooting PLCs, robots, and vision systems.Experience in identifying equipment for in-house manufacturing.Proficiency in 3D CAD, with Solidworks preferred.Familiarity with TQM and Lean Six Sigma principles.
