Job Title : HVAC TechnicianWork ***** Louisville, KYWork ***** Day shift - 7: 30 am -12:00pmPay ***** 28/hr.Job descriptionIn this role, you will support the HVAC unit with Knowledge and aptitude of lab equipment and computer skills.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES1.Prepare various HVAC units for testing; involves refrigerant evacuation, leak checking, and charging.2. Modification/Rework of various HVAC units for testing; involves instrumentation, adding lines for pressure monitoring, temperature instrumentation3. Monitor and maintain HVAC units on SLAT and Field Test4. Dump and Weighing of test units5. Take ownership of a lab area; maintain equipment; order/replenish consumables6. Maintain refrigerant supplies for multiple areas (R410a, R134a, R32, R454B, R1234yf, R290, Nitrogen)7. Work with engineers on new model development; prototype units***** Brazing, Evacuation/Charging of Refrigerants, TC Prep, Organization, CommunicationMinimum QualificationsReach out service technicians to recover failure components on field to the ***** emailing, phone calls and tracking label creationReceive, classify and relabel incoming parts in autopsy part labRecreate failure modes in the laboratory (prediagnosis)Ship parts back to the factory for full diagnosis when applicable.Rework tasks at ADCs (when applicable)Attention to detail and excellent time management skillsExperience using hand toolsAbility to troubleshoot and repair equipmentKnowledge and aptitude of lab equipment and computer skills (well versed with MS Excel - V Lookup)High proficiency in Microsoft products including ExcelMotivated and ability to follow written procedures with minimum supervisionAbility to work in a team environmentEDUCATIONAssociate's degree or Military equivalent or High School DiplomaJob ***** Contract**4 hour shift*** 1 year (Preferred)License/**EPA Type II (Preferred)Work ** In person
