**This position is a Sr. Electrical EngineerKey skills / *Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram / requirements level and develop a complete hardware design, and verifying via test and integrationExperience PCB Design tasks and proven ability to use tools to design, analyze, and simulate designs prior to hardware executionExperience with the defense industry and embedded electronics6-12 years of experienceThe Senior Electrical Engineer will contribute to the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and/or CCAs for a variety of DoD applications. The qualified candidate possesses general familiarity with all aspects of circuit card design. Experience with any of the following sub-disciplines of particular **** digital and mixed signal design, configurable logic (FPGA/firmware) design, RF design and power electronics design.The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite; routine communication will occur through MS Teams, OneNote, Azure DevOps, Excel, and e-mail.Required **Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearanceMinimum of 5 years Engineering design experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field, or a master's degree with relevant internship experience A self-motivated and effective communicator Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level and develop a complete hardware design, and verifying via test and integration Experience with PCB design tasks and proven ability to use tools to design (schematic capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution Capable of functioning in multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, and be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skillsProficient in digital circuit card designCompetent in circuit analysis Competent in COTS integrationDesired ** - Current DoD Secret level security clearance - Experience using Altium Design Suite - Experience in the development and design of electronic circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design, and processor designs - Team and project leadership skills - Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, design margin analysis and design for production - Experience with military specifications or similar (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464) - Design experience with environmental and electro-magnetic interference (EMI) concerns
