Job SummaryAnalyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and estimate requirements.Develop comprehensive cost estimates, including material takeoffs and labor calculations, for data center electrical projects.Maintain accurate records of estimate figures, supplier pricing, and historical cost data to ensure precision in cost assessments.Review and integrate past project data, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and productivity reports, into unit and man-hour estimates.Participate in pre-bid meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to refine project scope and estimating accuracy.Coordinate the full estimating process for assigned bids/projects, ensuring all cost factors are considered.QualificationsMinimum of four years of estimating experience in electrical construction, preferably in data center projects, or equivalent technical training/experience.Strong knowledge of estimating methodologies, cost control principles, and the ability to interpret and analyze computerized cost data.Proficiency in relevant estimating software and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Valid driver's license.Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and MVR screening when required for job responsibilities.BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-based incentives.Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with company match.Flexible medical, dental, and vision insurance options, including company-paid medical coverage.Short-term and long-term disability insurance.Paid time off and recognized company holidays.
