This role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and an in-depth understanding of local markets.Key *- Lead land acquisition efforts through market analysis and site selection.- Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, and public officials.- Conduct feasibility studies and due diligence for potential acquisitions.- Prepare and present acquisition proposals to senior management.- Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, planning, and development.- Stay informed on zoning laws, environmental regulations, and market trends.- Monitor competitors and industry developments to identify new opportunities.- Manage and mentor a team of acquisition professionals.****- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field; Master's preferred.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition or real estate development, strongly prefer prior homebuilding experience- Proven track record of successful land deals in South-West Florida.- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Knowledge of local real estate markets and regulatory frameworks.
