If you're ready to lead with confidence, train and develop staff, and refine processes that empower Loan Officers and clients alike, this is the role for you.Who You Are & Must-Have Experience:✅ A Mortgage Operations Expert- You bring at least 5+ years of high-level mortgage operations experience in a non-delegated correspondent and wholesale broker hybrid model, with deep knowledge of TRID/RESPA, compliance, underwriting guidelines, and closing timelines.✅ A Sales & Operations Connector- You understand that sales and operations should work together to close more loans, not against each other. You have the communication skills to work closely with Loan Officers, providing solutions and guidance"”not roadblocks.✅ A Pre-Underwriting & Loan Structuring Pro- You know how to pre-underwrite loans for submission, review conditional loan approvals for accuracy, and push back on unnecessary or inaccurate underwriting conditions to facilitate a smooth process.✅ An Investor & Pricing Strategist- You understand loan pricing, loan-level price adjustments, and how to shop a loan across multiple investors to secure the best rate and execution.✅ A Contract & Compliance Specialist- You confidently review purchase contracts to track loan contingencies, appraisal contingencies, and closing deadlines"”ensuring deals stay on track.✅ An Escalation & Problem-Solving Leader- You don't get stuck on hurdles"”you solve them. You're also experienced in handling state and federal audits when they arise.✅ On-Site Presence in Simi Valley, CA- Leadership happens side by side with your team, which is why this role requires full-time, on-site presence at our corporate headquarters.
