Source One is a staffing services company and we're currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our client in the San Francisco, CA area.Title: Vehicle Operator (Driver) - Data CollectionLocation: San Francisco, CAWork environment: In-personPay Range: $23/hr - $28/hr (W-2)Schedule: AM Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM | PM Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (shifts are PST and available 7 days a week depending on your preference)Assignment length: 12-month contract with extension possibilityNumber of Positions: 50-100Shifts are available 7 days a week for either weekdays or weekends, so please indicate if you have a preference. This role will be in Mountain View for the first 6-8 weeks until they get operations up and running in SF.Job description: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position open to candidates local to the San Francisco, CA area. Our client is partnering with a leading technology company to advance the future of autonomous vehicle development. We are seeking Vehicle Operators - Data Collection to play a critical role in testing, collecting data, and refining cutting-edge driving technology.As part of this program, you will operate test vehicles in real-world conditions, gathering crucial data that directly impacts innovation. Join a fast-paced, dynamic team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous learning.Responsibilities:- Drive test vehicles for 4-8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.- Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs.- Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection.- Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs.- Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance.- Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.Requirements:- Basic vehicle knowledge with a clean driving record- Comfortable driving for extended periods (4-8 hours per day)- No moving violations within the past 12 months, DUIs, or criminal record- Must be able to type above 45 wpm- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities- Ability to follow detailed instructions and strict safety guidelinesBenefits:- Pre-tax commuter benefits- Employer Subsidized healthcare benefits- Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs- Covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance- 401k package
