About the TeamAs a Business Development Representative at Clarra, you will have a direct impact on the success of Clarra's sales organization. Our BDRs are trusted partners, working side-by-side with our Account Executives to capture market share. They are highly valued members of our organization, and for this reason, Clarra heavily invests in their professional growth. What You'll DoThis is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in joining a high-growth, fast-paced tech company in the legal space. As a BDR, your primary responsibility will be to secure appointments for Clarra's Account Executive team and support AE's to convert opportunities to closure. The BDR will be involved in prospecting and lead generation to introduce Clarra's services and product suite to decision-makers at prospective companies. These leads are generated primarily from cold calls, LinkedIn messaging, and strategic marketing campaigns, so we're seeking someone who is persistent and a go-getter. The BDR will work with and update the customer relationship management database (Hubspot). The compensation package rewards the BDR substantially for achieving sales appointment, pipeline, and closure goals. ResponsibilitiesConduct cold calls to potential clients that result in appointments for Account ExecsProvide timely follow-up on marketing campaignsCreate and execute targeted campaigns, and work with the marketing team to create and maintain relationships with prospects to convert them into customersLeverage CRM (Hubspot) to maintain a record of outreach Leverage LinkedIn and social networking websites to drive leadsRespond to incoming inquiries from our website.Work with account executives to bring accounts to closure.Promote and draw attendance to various conferences and eventsMaintain a database of leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities accurately and consistently. Effectively prepare Account Execs with contact and account knowledge in preparation for meetings.Who you areYou are a collaborative team player who is entrepreneurial and wakes up excited to help drive our sales engine. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum RequirementsBS/BA required1-2 years of previous SaaS sales or business development experience preferredHighly effective verbal communication skills - able to achieve desired results with customers, prospects, vendors, and partners through effective, articulate communications.Entrepreneurial self-starter attitude and behavior, motivated and enthusiastic about contributing to the success of a rapidly growing company.Preferred RequirementsPrior experience at a growth-stage internet/ software companyExperience in LegaltechLooking to become an Account Executive in the near future. Pay and benefitsThis role will receive a competitive base salary, variable compensation, benefits, and stock options. The expected range of On-Target Earnings for this role is $70,000 - $90,000, subject to change. Additional benefits for this role may include equity, sales commissions/bonuses, 401(k) plan, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
