Job Title: Part-time House ManagerLocation: Bel Air, MarylandEmployment Type: Part-TimeSalary: Competitive, based on experienceJob Summary:A private family in Bel Air, Maryland, is seeking a reliable and highly organized House Manager to oversee the daily operations of their home. This role involves assisting with household organization, light cleaning, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation for two children to and from school and extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a household while ensuring a warm and structured environment for the family.Key Responsibilities:Childcare & Transportation:Safely transport two children from school to home and extracurricular activities such as sports, tutoring, and other commitments.Ensure children adhere to their schedules and arrive on time for their activities.Assist with occasional school-related tasks, such as packing lunches or helping with homework as needed.Household Management & Organization:Keep the home tidy and organized, ensuring common areas remain clean and clutter-free.Oversee home organization, including closets, storage areas, and kitchen spaces.Manage household supplies, keeping inventory and restocking when necessary.Light Cleaning & Meal Preparation:Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, kitchen cleanup, and tidying up living spaces.Prepare simple, healthy meals for the family, considering dietary preferences and restrictions.Load/unload the dishwasher and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.Errands & Grocery Shopping:Shop for groceries and household essentials based on a provided list or as needed. Use of Instacart is sufficient. Handle other household errands, such as picking up dry cleaning or dropping off packages.Qualifications & Requirements:Previous experience as a House Manager, Family Assistant, or Nanny preferred.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable vehicle required.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Ability to cook simple, nutritious meals for the family.Trustworthy, responsible, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Non-smoker preferred.Schedule & Compensation:Schedule: Monday - Friday, with occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends as needed.Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience, with potential benefits discussed during hiring.Start Date: ASAPHow to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume, a brief cover letter, and references.
