The firm is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Labor and Employment Law Partner to join their team in Roseland, NJ, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice.Position Overview:The Labor and Employment Law Partner will be a key leader in expanding and managing the firm's labor and employment practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including corporate employers, non-profits, and government entities, offering strategic counsel on various labor and employment issues. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in labor and employment law, along with strong leadership and business development skills necessary to mentor the team and grow the practice.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the firm's labor and employment law practice in Roseland, NJ.Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including workplace policies, employee relations, wage and hour issues, collective bargaining, discrimination, harassment, and employment litigation.Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and before governmental agencies such as the NLRB, EEOC, and DOL.Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality, timely legal services.Develop and implement strategies for business development and client acquisition.Mentor and guide junior associates and other members of the labor and employment team.Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.Qualifications:10+ years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation and counseling.Proven ability to manage a labor and employment practice, including business development and client relationship management.Extensive experience representing clients in both union and non-union environments.Strong background in handling complex employment litigation, including class actions, wage and hour disputes, and discrimination claims.In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.Active membership in the New Jersey Bar.
