File Clerk/HR Administrative AssistantJob Summary:The File Clerk/HR Administrative Assistant supports both administrative and human resources functions by managing employee records, updating employee handbooks, and assisting with financial and payroll tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Outlook. A minimum typing speed of 45-55 words per minute is essential.Key Responsibilities:File and Records Management:Organize and maintain physical and electronic employee files.Ensure all records are accurate, confidential, and up-to-date.HR Support:Create, update, and distribute employee handbooks in line with company policies.Assist in onboarding processes by preparing employee files and documentation.Financial Administration:Utilize QuickBooks to manage payroll processing, invoices, and collection calls.Maintain accurate financial records and assist with basic accounting tasks.Office Support:Prepare and manage reports using Excel.Handle communications through Outlook and coordinate with other departments as needed.General Administrative Duties:Provide administrative support to HR and finance teams as required.Demonstrate strong typing skills with a speed of 35-45 words per minute for efficient data entry.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or coursework in HR or administration is a plus.Prior experience in an administrative, file clerk, or HR support role.Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Desired Skills and ExperienceThe File Clerk/HR Administrative Assistant supports both administrative and human resources functions by managing employee records, updating employee handbooks, and assisting with financial and payroll tasks.
