This role is responsible for leading initiatives that enhance market share and optimize client experience, while aligning with the bank's broader strategic vision. The Market President will manage the banks Treasury Sales & Management team, leading efforts to develop and implement comprehensive treasury management strategies. As a dynamic leader, the Market President will champion the bank's expansion efforts, cultivate deep relationships within the community, and oversee cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of business objectives. The specific responsibilities are further outlined below:Market Leadership and Growth:Develop and execute strategies to expand the bank's presence in the Longmont market, focusing on commercial and business banking opportunities.Collaborate with the Chief Banking Officer to align market growth strategies with the bank's overarching goals and initiatives.Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share and enhance the bank's presence.Work closely with the VP of Marketing to develop and execute the banks marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, community leaders, and business partners.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies as needed.Identify, recruit, and onboard talented business development personnel within the market to support growth initiatives and enhance the bank's capabilities.Foster the professional growth of newly hired business development staff, ensuring alignment with the bank's culture and strategic goals.Business Development and Client Relationship Management:Proactively identify, prospect, and acquire new commercial banking clients with a strong focus on promoting cash management products, deposit growth, and loan generation.Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies, including networking events and referral networks, to build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.Achieve assigned growth targets in deposits, loans, and fee income by developing and executing sales plans in line with bank objectives.Oversee all stages of the sales process from prospecting and qualifying leads to needs analysis, proposal presentation, closing, and onboarding new clients.Work closely with internal teams, including Treasury Management, Credit and Loan Administration, to implement banking solutions and ensure smooth delivery of services for clients.Treasury Management:Oversee the Bank's Treasury Sales & Management teams, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and support needed for successDevelop and implement comprehensive treasury management strategies to optimize cash flow, liquidity, and risk management for both the bank and its clients.Collaborate with the Chief Banking Officer and other colleagues to design and refine treasury products and services that meet the evolving needs of clients.Work closely with clients to understand their treasury management needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their financial operations.Lead efforts to increase treasury fee income and client retention through exceptional service delivery.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to treasury management activities.Train and mentor the treasury management team, promoting professional growth and ensuring high performance.Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear objectives and targets for the treasury management team.Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in treasury management to keep the bank's offerings competitive and effective.
